NOTIPOCKET / PRIVACY
Privacy policy
NotiPocket is built around local storage. This policy explains the data the app handles, where it stays, and the controls available to you.
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Scope
This policy covers the NotiPocket iPhone app provided by ParaZeni and the related information on this product website. The current app has no accounts, ads, in-app cloud sync, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Data handled on your device
After you agree to saving and enable your own Shortcuts automation, the app receives the source app name, title, subtitle, body, and optional recipient field passed by that automation. It adds a capture timestamp and local record identifier. Notification text may contain names, private messages, or other sensitive information. Configure only sources you are comfortable saving.
Appearance, language, retention, consent and capture status, setup progress, verification receipts, summary counts, and source display settings are also kept locally. You can import a source icon through the system Photos or Files picker. The app processes only the image you select, not your entire library.
Inputs with blank title, subtitle, and body fields are skipped. Text with a missing source is saved as Unknown source. The app does not read Notification Center directly, retrieve other apps’ history, or capture notification photos or attachments.
Purpose and transmission
Data is used to save, organize, search, and delete local notification copies, display custom source icons, and provide the daily summary you choose to enable. The app does not transmit notification text or source icons to our servers. It currently includes no analytics, advertising, or third-party crash-tracking SDKs.
Links in notification text are not opened automatically. Tapping an external link asks the system to open that website. Installing the capture template opens Apple’s Shortcuts service. Those third-party services handle connection information under their own policies.
When you choose to copy text, the app creates a local-only clipboard item that is currently set to expire after five minutes and does not sync through Universal Clipboard. The app does not automatically read your clipboard.
Storage, retention, and security
Records, source icons, and settings are stored in the app’s local sandbox. There is no CloudKit sync. The notification database and its directory are marked as excluded from system backups. Do not rely on the app as your only or permanent backup.
Notifications are retained for 30 days by default, with 7, 10, 30, and 90-day options, measured from each capture time. Expired records are excluded from display and queries, then removed when the app opens or writes new notifications. Shortening retention may immediately delete expired records.
The app uses iOS sandboxing and file protection. To support background saving, its database can be accessed by the app after the first unlock following a restart. This is not a separate in-app passcode lock and cannot guarantee safety on a compromised device. Protect your iPhone and device passcode.
Your choices and deletion
Pause Accept new notifications in the app or disable or remove the automation in Apple Shortcuts to stop new input. Existing copies remain until deleted. Delete selected records, an entire source, or all records in Settings. Deleting a copy does not affect the source service’s messages.
Deleting the app removes its local data. Offloading an app, which retains documents and data, is different from deleting it. There are no accounts or server-side account records to retrieve or delete. You can stop further saving and delete saved copies at any time.
Optional notifications and diagnostics
Daily summaries require you to enable the feature and grant system notification permission. They contain a count of successful captures, not notification bodies, from the previous 8 PM to the next. Local tests are excluded. Disable them in the app or system settings at any time.
When a storage error occurs, the app keeps only its category and time locally for troubleshooting. It does not log full notification contents or upload this diagnostic automatically. When using TestFlight or Apple diagnostic features, Apple may process and provide crash reports or feedback you submit under its own terms, separately from the app’s local storage.
Website and voluntary contact
This website uses no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, third-party fonts, or cookies. It does not ask you to enter notification contents. The web host may process technical request records such as IP addresses and request times for connectivity and security. Your local app archive is not sent to this website.
On your first visit to the root URL, the website chooses Traditional Chinese or English from your browser language. If you switch manually, only that language preference is stored in this browser for future visits; no tracking identifier is created. The site checks its version with the same website and reloads when a new version is ready. This does not transmit notification data from the app.
If you contact support by email, we handle the contact details and contents you voluntarily provide to respond to your request. Do not send verification codes, private notification text, or unredacted screenshots. Public contact details are listed on the Support page.
Updates and contact
We will update this policy and its date if our data practices change. New permissions or choices will be explained in the relevant flow. This policy does not preauthorize future analytics, sync, or account features.
For questions about this policy or managing local data, see the contact details on the Support page.
